- PROFILE: Analysing Your Situation – in this step, you will complete exercises and ask yourself questions about your competencies, values and professional image, in order to prepare a personal and professional profile.
- OBJECTIVE: Identifying Your Objectives – this step will help you determine the general and specific directions of your career and the areas you need to develop/improve.
- ACTION PLAN: Planning the Next Step – in this step, you will formulate an action plan to enhance your current situation and achieve your objectives.

The time and effort that you put into this process will give you both a framework to evaluate the opportunities you encounter, as well as a greater sense of control over your career and personal goals. The Growing@Bell site is available from any Internet connection through the Career and Development Centre (CDC).
