The Network Management districts are responsible for capacity management within our telecommunication network, as well as network optimization, design and geographic planning.

Key objectives within network management include ensuring appropriate and timely capital investment decisions are made based on network capacity and demand.

The Network Management district faces the constant challenge of building a reliable, robust and cost-effective network on which services can be sold.

Interaction
Network Management interacts with Network Planning, Direction and Investment, and assists in directing the work of the Implementation Management team.

Qualifications
Management
Management positions in NP&P are wide-ranging in function and the qualifications required. We require fast thinkers who have a solid understanding of the business and can learn about network technology and processes. Candidates who have strong leadership skills will be key to our success. Post-secondary degrees or diplomas in Business, Engineering or Project Management are strong assets, but other backgrounds may be considered as well, depending on experience.
Non-management
Non-management positions (represented by the CTEA) in NP&P are also wide-ranging in function. Generally, we require employees who are quick learners with strong PC skills, who are willing to take initiative and are comfortable with numbers and analysis.
