Customer Facing Groups
The Customer Facing Groups are divided into the following three segments: Consumer Markets, Small and Medium-Size Business Segment, and Enterprise. The types of jobs available within our Customer Facing Groups include Sales, Retail and Call Centre positions.
- The Consumer Markets Group leverages the strengths of wireline, wireless, Internet and video in order to deliver, with added simplicity, even better customer service within the call centres, operator services and Bell World.
The Business Units that comprise this group include: Bell Mobility, Bell ExpressVu, BDI and Sympatico (ISP, SympaticoMSN portal and Bell.ca).
- The Small and Medium-Size Business Segment provides tailored and comprehensive solutions to all types of businesses to help them compete and grow, offering smarter devices and better services. Bell is a key enabler for businesses wanting to increase their presence or even build their own mobile offices.
The Business Units that make up this segment include: Bell Public access, Bell Conferia, Sales, Mass Channels and Marketing.
- Bell's Enterprise Group helps large corporations, governments and institutions that are faced with a number of challenges and are required to reduce costs, integrate new technologies and become more productive, all at the same time.
As such, these organizations turn to Bell's Enterprise Group for innovative network solutions and applications to help them achieve their strategic objectives. Furthermore, they will continue to benefit from high-quality, profitable and reliable voice and data transmission solutions.
The Enterprise Group also offers these large organizations the expertise and guidance needed to adopt an Internet protocol (IP) communications environment.
- Bell Carrier Services is a dynamic and exciting department within Bell that provides both retail and wholesale telecommunications services to competitive Carriers, Resellers, Wireless Companies, Internet Service Providers and Local Exchange Carriers.
Bell established the Carrier Services Group (CSG) to meet the needs of new entrants to the Canadian telecommunications marketplace following the CRTC's decision to open up Canada's long distance market to competition. As a standalone business unit within Bell that is separated from the retail side of the business, CSG provides telecommunications services to it's customers on an impartial, confidential basis.
As the regulatory landscape and wholesale market evolves, CSG remains Bell's strategic business unit responsible for managing all business relationships with its competitors. CSG provides industry leading voice, broadband and IP solutions across Canada, the United States, and the rest of the world. Its skilled sales, customer service, and technical support teams are focused on delivering wholesale solutions to help their customers grow their business, while generating revenue for the Company.
Bell helps its customers increase their efficiency by providing them with, among other things, network management services whereby they entrust the management of their networks to Bell.
Bell also offers large corporations a number of solutions aimed at improving network efficiency and security, as well as applications for optimizing profitability in both Canada and abroad.
